Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) study the level of quality of life of children and youth in Bankhaimuenpheaw Subdistrict Municipality Mueang Chaiyaphum District Chaiyaphum. 2) compare the quality of life of children and youth in Bankhaimuenpheaw Subdistrict Municipality Mueang Chaiyaphum District Chaiyaphum, classified by gender, age and marital status of the parents and           3) study the guidelines for development the quality of life of children and youth in Bankhaimuenpheaw Subdistrict Municipality Mueang Chaiyaphum District Chaiyaphum.

         The sample group used in the research included children aged 12-15 years and youth aged 16-17 years, 181 people,  research used questionnaires and results were analyzed with descriptive statistics. the results from the questionnaire each aspect with the lowest average, 1 item on each aspect, to create the questionnaire. and interviewed 9 people by specific selection.

         The results of the research showed that 1) the level of quality of life of children and youth the overall picture is at a high level, considering each aspect,                 it was found that it was at a high level in 3 aspects, the  aspect with the highest average was education, the social aspect and health aspect, respectively 2) The results of the comparison the quality of life of children and youth classified by gender were not different, classified by ages were different and classified by the marital status of the parents different and 3) Guidelines for development the quality of life of children and youth, Health aspect, activity to promote exercise regularly, invite and publicize knowledge about the benefits of exercise, do various activities so that children and youth aware of the beneficial effects of exercise, organize space for exercising in the community and improving the area. In education aspect, promoted effective learning, create opportunities for children and youth to receive equal scholarships, find new sources of capital and publicizing information and giving advice and recommendations and the social aspect, environmental activities should be organized for children and youth participated in activities, public relations to provide knowledge, cultivate awareness of the environment, giving awards to honor.
