Sheikh Nik Mat Kijik al-Fatani and Matla al-Badrayn: An Outstanding Work of Fiqh

Abstract

The Matla’al-Badrayn , work of Sheikh Muhammad Bin Ismail al-Daudi al-Fatani a very well known pattanian scholar and an expert on Fiqh. This book of Fiqh was written in Malay language and it has been widely used in study and learning till today. With regard to the analytical studing of this book, the writer has emphasized on the outstanding and widely accepted by muslim academicians. This book is very unique regarded as model of Pattani scholar which in unique to pattanian scholars in the past till Pattani became the center of Islamic academy in region of Southeast Asia.
