Dear Faculty Members, Researchers, Scholars, Graduate and Undergraduate Students, and the General Public,

The Editorial Board of the Journal of Islamic Studies ,  Prince of Songkla University (JOIS), cordially invites you to submit academic manuscripts for consideration for publication in the journal. The journal aims to serve as a platform for the dissemination of high-quality scholarly knowledge and research in the field of Islamic Studies and related disciplines.

Scope of the Journal

The journal welcomes submissions in the fields of Islamic Studies and Muslim Studies, including but not limited to:

  • Islamic Law

  • Islamic Economics

  • Middle Eastern Studies

Manuscript Review Process

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a rigorous academic evaluation by at least three experts (peer reviewers) with relevant expertise, following a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality and scholarly standards.

This issue presents scholarly articles reflecting the development of knowledge in Islamic Studies across educational, social, and administrative dimensions, with particular emphasis on Muslim society in Thailand alongside comparative international perspectives.

The contributions highlight the role of Islamic social finance, particularly waqf, in supporting the sustainability of Islamic educational institutions, as well as peace education practices in Islamic schools in Southern Thailand in response to social diversity and vulnerability.

In addition, the issue includes studies on halal systems in the livestock industry and research on educational management that integrates Islamic principles with systematic approaches to quality enhancement. Overall, the issue demonstrates the academic relevance of Islamic Studies in connecting religious foundations with contemporary societal concerns.
