Abstract

        This research aimed to study the efficiency of good governance according to the good governance principles of the local government organization in Pathumthani province. The sample consisted of 400 voters in Pathumthani province by using Multiple Random Sampling. The research tool was the questionnaire which consisted of 4 parts: personal status, leadership factors, public participation factors and the efficiency of good governance. The Index of Item Objective Congruence (IOC) is between 0.6 - 1.00 and the reliability was at 0.97.  The statistics used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, T-test, analysis of variance, and multiple linear regression analysis.

        The findings found that transformational leadership factors, participation factors and the efficiency of good governance according to the principles of good governance.  The overall was at the high level.  The transformational leadership factors that affected the good governance efficiency of the local government organization – individualism, inspiration, prestige, cognitive stimulation and the factors of participation that affected the good governance efficiency of the local government organization participation in receiving benefits from operations, in operation, in finding problems, in audits and follow-up, and in planning.
