Web Application Development to Support Spatial Data Presentation of Chanthob Phet Sub-district, Ban Kruat District, Buriram Province, Thailand and Chup Koki Village, Banteay Ampil District, Udon Meechai Province, Cambodia

Abstract

This paper aimed to develop web application in order to support spatial data presentation of study area. The data were analyzed by using techniques of geo-informatics in surveying the areas of tourist attractions, hotels, gas stations, OTOP shops, restaurants, official places, temples, schools, and other places. Then, web application was designed by using PHP JavaScript and SQL was used as a main language for making map database system on web. The satisfaction of the program designed was also evaluated. The results revealed that geo-informatics could be used to make the spatial database effectively in the following places: 3 tourist attractions, 1 hotel, 6 gas stations, 71 restaurants, 2 OTOP shops, 7 official places, 12 temples, 8 schools, and 29 of other kinds of places. In term of web application program, it can response to the users immediately. Also, the users can add, correct, and delete the data independently. The satisfaction level of every issues of the web application was at a high and very high level.
