Abstract

          The objective of this research was to 1) study effectiveness factor influencing solid waste management effectiveness; 2) study relationship model that affects to the waste management effectiveness 3) suggest for improving the effectiveness of waste management This research uses mixed research methods between quantitative research and qualitative research. The target group of 10 experts by using the random sampling method and the 400 people were acquired through the opening tables of Taro Yamane the research instruments were the structured interview form and the 5 levels rating scale questionnaire. The reliability is 0.87 and the statistics used for data analysis are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. T-test One-way Analysis of Variance Multiple regression analysis and content analysis.

          The research results were as follows (1) Factors affecting the effectiveness of the solid waste management of Nakornkasorn Phamhahan found that the waste management behavior, participation in solid waste management and effectiveness of solid waste management, overall is at a moderate level in all aspects. Knowledge of waste management was at 80% understanding. (2) The form of causal relationship factors affecting the effectiveness of waste management were found that Waste management behavior, knowledge of waste management, and participation in solid waste management positively correlated with the effectiveness of solid waste management, with 0.01 signifying level waste management behavior, knowledge at waste management, and participation in solid waste management have statistically influenced an solid waste management effectiveness with standard deviation at 0.230, 0.104, and 0.146, respectively. (3) Policy recommendations for improving the effectiveness of solid waste management found that experts have provided the following suggestions on waste management behavior 1) Building trust 2) Workshop and 3) Demonstration activity Knowledge in solid waste management 1) Raising awareness for the public 2) Promoting solid waste knowledge 3) Awareness of information And participation in solid waste management 1) The main person responsible 2) The opening of community and local meetings and 3) Public relations on the effectiveness of solid waste management is as follows: 1) Selecting a reliable service provider 2) Measurement and evaluation and 3) Providing knowledge and understanding in waste management.
