Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Duties of authors

  1. Submission of articles The author must certify that the work is new and has not been presented in the form of proceeding and published anywhere before.
  2. Articles submitted for publication, authors must present factual reports from research without distorting information or providing false information.
  3. If another person's work is used in the author's work, the author's work must be cited and appear in the reference list at the end of the article.
  4. Submitted articles must follow the format specified in the journal's original thesis submission instructions, otherwise the editors will not accept that article.
  5. An article with the author's name appears must be a person who actually participates in the research. The editorial team will consider the possibility from the article.
  6. Articles must indicate funding sources for this research in their acknowledgments.
  7. The author must specify a conflict of interest (if any).

Guidelines and Recommendations for Authors

Academic articles and research articles

The Journal of Research and Development Institute of Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University has a policy to promote and disseminate academic works and research of students, faculty and interested scholars. It is also an academic forum for exchanging views and opinions on research. The types of works that the journal will consider are academic articles, review articles, research articles and book reviews.

An article to be considered for publication in a research and development institute journal must not have previously been published in any other journal and is not in the process of being considered for publication in any journal. From independent evaluators (Peer Reviewers) first to ensure that the journal has international quality and can be referenced. Preparing manuscripts for publication should follow the instructions below.

Journal of Research and Development Institute, Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University is a journal in the fields of humanities and social sciences covering the following sciences: Social sciences, sociology, humanities, anthropology, political science, public administration, law, management science, business administration, economics, education, religion, philosophy, linguistics, applied studies, and other social sciences.

Manuscript preparation

  1. Language: Can be in Thai or English. The use of Thai language is based on the use of words and names according to the principles of the Royal Institute. The use of English should be avoided in the text,

Unless it is necessary to write Thai words followed by parentheses, use all lowercase letters in English, except that the name must begin with a capital letter,

The English portion of the essay should be checked by an English language expert before submitting the manuscript.

  1. Printing: Must be published with Microsoft Word (Word). Applicants must print and submit the original in the data file format as “.doc” or “.docx”(MSWord) only. Letter TH SarabunPSK by arranging the page size B5 (18.2 cm. x 25.7 cm.), set the page for printing 1 inch (2.5 cm) from each edge of the paper. Arrange one column for every article.
  2. Number of pages: Academic articles, review articles, research articles, and book reviews should not exceed 15 pages.

 

Content Sorting

  1. Academic articles

1.1Title: should be short, compact, and the main target media does not use abbreviations, the title must be both Thai and English.

1.2Author: Available in both Thai and English, specifying the agency or institution affiliated with and the author's E-mailaddress for the editorial team to contact about manuscripts and published articles, if there are multiple authors, they must specify the information of all authors

1.3Abstract: There must be both Thai and English as a summary that is easy to read and understand as the main point of the entire article, in order of importance of the content as follows: introduction, objectives, continuous content should not exceed 15 lines, or Maximum length is 250 words, and should not use non-universal abbreviations.

1.4Keywords: Specify both Thai and English languages, put at the end of the abstract of each language no more than 5 words.

1.5Introduction: is a part of the content that tells the background, importance, academic arguments, reasons leading to the presentation of the objectives of the academic article presentation, etc.

1.6Content: is the essence of the article, which may be divided into several topics.

1.7Conclusion: is a summary of the entire article, which may include discarding issues for the next study.

1.8Reference: For the publication of references, the general rule is that the reference must be published and accepted academically.

1.9 Table names, chart names, diagram names, image names, or other object names must be written in English (English), so that the journal will continue to import international databases.

 

  1. Research article

2.1 Title: should be short, compact, and the main objective of the research, do not use abbreviations, the title must be both Thai and English, with the Thai title first.

2.2 Author: Available in both Thai and English, specifying the agency or institution affiliated with and the author's E-mail address for the editorial team to contact about the manuscript and published article, if there are multiple authors, the information of authors must be specified. all authors

2.3 Abstract: There should be both Thai and English as a concise text that is easy to read and understand as the main idea of the entire article, arranged in order of importance as follows: objectives, research methods, results, and continuous criticism. Should be no more than 1 page, or no more than 500 words in length, and should not use non-universal abbreviations.

2.4 Keywords: Specify both Thai and English, put at the end of the abstract of each language.

2.5 Introduction: is the part of the content that tells the background, importance, and reasons leading to the research, providing academic information, along with briefly related aims, and the objectives of that research as well.

2.6 Methodology: Specify the details of the research process or methods such as data sources, data collection tools, data collection, data analysis methods, etc.

2.7 Results: present the findings according to the research objectives clearly and concisely, such as the use of descriptions, tables or charts, or pictures with descriptions, etc., and should be presented in order of research objectives.

2.8 Tables, pictures and charts should be selected only as necessary and must have a short, but meaningful description. Tables, pictures, charts, descriptions must be at the bottom.

2.9 Discussion: clarify whether research findings are consistent or different from previously reported work, why they are, and provide a reliable reference base.

2.10 Suggestion: Presenting guidelines for utilizing research results or discarding research questions for further research.

2.11 Reference: For the publication of a reference, the general rule is that the reference must be published and accepted academically.

2.10 Table names, chart names, diagram names, image names, or other object names must be written in English, in order for the journal to import to international databases.

  1. Book review:

Must contain the main elements of bibliography, reviewer's name, and critique.

 Citation should use APA style citation style (American Psychological Association citation style).
