Organizational Communication Competency Affecting the Work Performance Efficiency of Personnel under Surin Secondary Educational Service Area Office

This research aimed to: 1) examine the level of organizational communication competency among personnel under Surin Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2) assess the level of work performance efficiency of personnel; and 3) investigate the influence of organizational communication competency on work performance efficiency. The sample comprised 355 personnel at all levels and positions within the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Surin, selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed that: (1) the overall level of organizational communication competency was rated at the highest level. When examined by dimensions, all four aspects were rated at the highest level, ranked in descending order as follows: communication channels, communication technology, communication frequency, and communication patterns; 2) the overall level of work performance efficiency was also at the highest level. Among the three dimensions, time efficiency, work quality, and work quantity were rated at the highest levels, respectively; and 3) all four dimensions of organizational communication competency (communication patterns, communication frequency, communication channels, and communication technology) demonstrated statistically significant positive effects on work performance efficiency.
