Checklist before Submission

Authors are encouraged to check the following points carefully before making a submission. Manuscripts not conforming to the checklist may be returned to the author.
     ☑ This manuscript is not being considered for publication elsewhere nor is it published elsewhere.
     ☑ This manuscript is in Microsoft Word format.
     ☑ All references cited in this manuscript conform the journal’s referencing style.
     ☑ All authors have approved and given consent for submission of this manuscript.
     ☑ This manuscript is not a replication of other researchers’ work nor does it include non-original items without permission from copyright holders.  

 

Author Guideline for Academic Journal of Management Technology

Authors are encouraged to strictly adhere to the submission guidelines specified by the journal.

1. Types of Articles to be Accepted
     1.1 Research articles refer to reports of research works that have been carried out.
     1.2 Academic articles are papers that cover the following contents :
           1.2.1 Literature reviews are articles that present an overview of systematic, topic focused, reproducible method of identifying, evaluating, and interpreting existing literature, which is an essential foundation of research.
           1.2.2 Professional practices are articles written from experiences or expertise of the author(s).
           1.2.3 Technical papers are articles that present the process of technical or scientific research, field experiments, or innovative analysis techniques.
           1.2.4 Policy papers are articles that focus on a specific policy issue that provides clear recommendations for policy makers. 

2. Structure of Articles
    2.1 Research Articles
           2.1.1 The Preliminary Section:

      • Titles must be presented in both Thai and English with concise and clear objectives of the study and should be no longer than 100 words.
      • Full names and affiliations of all authors should be included and written in Thai and English without title. An asterisk (*) should be noted on the family name of the corresponding author(s) in the author list, with a superscripted number to provide their contact information.
      • The contact address(es) of the corresponding author(s) must include the affiliation(s) and complete mailing address(es). The name of the corresponding author with active email address must be provided.
      • Abstracts must be in Thai and English, concise. They should also clearly present the following components: objectives, research methods, results, and discussions with a length of no longer than 300 words.
      • A number of 3 - 5 keywords, written in recognizable words and phrases, should be provided in Thai and English at the end of the abstract.

             2.1.2 Text:

      • The introduction should present the rationale and the objectives of the study.
      • The literature review establishes the background on what has already been researched on a topic. It also shows research variables, hypotheses, and theoretical framework.
      • Methodology clearly describes all the instruments and research methods employed in the study.
      • Results and discussion provide a detailed and clear discussions of the results obtained from the study and discuss why the results agree or do not agree with the hypotheses with a firm support of related studies or opinions on the basis of theories or principles.
      • Conclusion and suggestions present the significance of the results, research benefits, and suggestions for further studies.
      • Acknowledgments give a concise description of the contributors, financial supporters, and thank the organizations or individuals who have helped in conducting the research.
      • Academic Journal of Management Technology uses APA 7th Referencing Style. The references cited in Thai Language should be presented before the references cited in English and listed in alphabetical order.

        2.2 Academic Articles
               2.2.1 The preliminary section has the same components as that of a research article
               2.2.2 The text

      • The introduction presents the rationale and objectives of the article.
      • The research methodology provides details of research instruments and/or materials and methods with brief and precise descriptions of data analysis and research procedures.
      • The results section provides descriptions of a statistical analysis of the study and its findings, including types of statistics used in accordance with the order of topics being studied.
      • The conclusions sections presents an interpretation of the key results and highlights the significance of the work.
      • The bibliographic references must be written using APA 7th Referencing Style. The references cited in Thai Language should be presented before the references cited in English and listed in alphabetical order.

3. Writing References
    References should be cited according to the APA 7th edition format (starting from Volume 5, Issue 1). Details and examples can be found in this file (Formats and examples of reference writing).
