Abstract

          The purposes of this research were 1) to study the factors affecting to quality assurance success of Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) 2) to study the relation between the predictors and successful quality assurance of EdPEx 3) to create equation successful quality assurance of EdPEx. The sample was 127 people of vice president, vice dean or the officer who responded to the quality assurance from different 6 universities in each region during the semester 2021 by a simple random sampling. The research instrument was questionnaire. The statistics used in the analysis were data analysis are average value (), the standard deviate (S.D), relationships between variables with the coefficient of correlation within predictors and predictors with the criterion variable, Enter multiple regression analysis.


          The result of the study revealed that


          1) The factors affecting to quality assurance success of EdPEx found that overall at a high level. Considering each aspect, in order of high level to low level, the results were as follows: the organizational culture, management and budget, and leadership and policy. 


          2) Correlation within predictors was between .466 – .797 and the correlation coefficients between predictors and criterion variables were leadership and policy (X1), management and budget (X2), personnel participation and attitude (X3), resources and technology for quality assurance operations (X4), organizational culture (X5), knowledge of criteria (X6) all of them Correlated positively with successful of quality assurance on EdPEx at the statistically significant .01 with the coefficient of correlation .822, .660, .856, .746, .671 and .825 respectively.


          3) Enter Multiple Regression Analysis found that 6 predictors affect to quality assurance success of EdPEx which the multiple correlation coefficient (R) = .929 and predicating power = 86.3 percent (R2 = .863), the standard error of prediction value = 23.00180 which is the predictive variables that affect to success of quality assurance on EdPEx at the statistical significant .05, four variables, which all contribute positively are Leadership and policy (X1), Management and Budget (X2), Personnel participation and attitude (X3), and Knowledge of Criteria (X6)


          Creating a predictive equation of quality assurance success of EdPEx in raw scores and standard scores as follows:


          Equation derived in the raw scores


          Y = -285.872 + 40.015(X1) + 12.572(X2) + 37.081(X3) + 7.081(X6)


          Equation derived in the standard scores


          Z = .274(X1) + .089(X2) + .268(X3) + .326(X6)
