Abstract

        A study of the Factors Affecting Holistic Surface Water Resource Management of Buriram Province Water Management Groups. The objectives are as follows: in order to obtain factors affecting holistic water management in the context of Buriram Province. By review method, the theoretical variables were combined with other variables to obtain the original variable set compared to 20 groups of water management phenomena in Buriram Province, data storage, focus groups, inquire, interview. The holistic performance of surface water management for each group consisted of only 9 elements out of 20, with details as follows. 1. Water control system 2. Water Management Group 3. Water source for storage 4. Water users 5. Collect information about the members' use of water. 6. There are rules or regulations in the group. 7. Leaders have a term of office. 8. The group is official. And 9. There are government agencies to support. In which the 20 water management groups have only 9 water management operations, it is considered quite good. It is a group that plays an important role in taking part in better management of water resources in the system. There is fairness in sharing water use without conflict in the community.
