The objectives  of  the  assessment  were to survey the need of Japanese Language Skills for Communication of Thai Spa and Massage Businesses in Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province. Data was collected from the Department faculty using a standard questionnaire.  The population was 20 Thai Spa and Massage Businesses in Mueang District, Chiang Rai. The research instrument was questionnaires for surveying needs for communicative Japanese. The data was evaluated using percentages, mean and standard deviation. The findings of this study showed that 20 Thai Spa and Massage Businesses in Mueang District, Chiang Rai needs to develop Japanese for communication. Rated 4.20 with a standard deviation of .77 And can classify the need for Japanese language skills development into 4 skills. Listening skills Rated 4.55 with a standard deviation of .60. Speaking skills Rated 4.50 with a standard deviation of .61. Reading skills Rated 3.45 with a standard deviation of .69. and Writing skills Rated 3.10 with a standard deviation of .64.
