Abstract

This review summarizes and comments on the well-known book of Peter Brown, Henry Roediger III, and Mark McDaniel. The book is mainly rooted on cognitive science which intends to help the arena of education. While it debunks the myths in relation to learning, the authors propose specific strategies for being more effective learners based on new discoveries in cognitive science and other disciplines. This review incorporates personal narratives and reflections.
