Sports City : Socio-Cultural Changes from Tourism Promotion in Buriram Province

Abstract

           This purpose To study the social and cultural changes of sports cities between the years 2011-2022, the research area is Mueang Buriram District. Buriram Province This research was a qualitative research. By studying information from documents, photographs, videos, and in-depth interviews, consisting of 3 experts, 5 operators, 7general informants. non-participatory observation structured and unstructured interview forms and presented the research results with a descriptive, analytical description.

          The study found that Socio-Cultural Changes from Tourism Promotion of Buriram Province Between 2011-2022 Mueang Buriram District Buriram Province is divided into 3 areas: 1) Social aspects, social characteristics, environments that have changed There is a development of transportation routes, hotels, accommodation, condos, cafes, as well as restaurants. to support tourists who come to watch sports and activities of Buriram province every month In addition to the social characteristics, it also results in the way of life of Buriram people creating new careers and increasing income. 2) Cultural aspect: local heritage has been applied to the football club's sports jersey design and created a new dressing value of the Buriram people. 3) The economy has expanded rapidly resulting in investment in business and various establishments for tourism services resulting in increased provincial income.
