THE ROLE OF MASS MEDIA INFLUENCING THE DISSOLUTION OF POLITICAL PARTIES IN THAILAND

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to 1) study the role of mass media and the level of dissolution of political parties in Thailand, 2) study the role of mass media influencing the dissolution of political parties in Thailand, and 3) analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and obstacles of the mass media influencing the dissolution of political parties in Thailand. The results showed that; 1) the study of the role of mass media and the level of dissolution of political parties in Thailand Overall and each aspect was at a high level, 2) the results of the study of the role components of mass media influencing the dissolution of political parties in Thailand revealed that the five components of the mass media were disseminating information, relationship coordination social continuity Providing enjoyment to members of society and social campaign politics and economy, and 3) the strength is that the mass media uses modern tools and technology to deliver political news quickly, political institutions and the monarchy are the source of the highest legitimacy in Thai politics, weaknesses are some news that are disseminated through media that lack moderation, opportunities are communication channels such as Facebook that allow people to express their political opinions, and the obstacle is that the government's plan to control and suppress the dissemination of information not concise and also some politicians seek conflicts of interest and seek personal benefits from political administration, which is a bad image.
