LOGISTICS STRATEGIES FOR SUSTAINABLE STRENGTHENING OF COASTAL SMALL-SCALE FISHERIES IN THE PAK PHANANG RIVER BASIN

This study examines the supply chain and logistics activities of coastal small-scale fisheries in the Pak Phanang River Basin, along with factors influencing seafood distribution demand. A mixed-methods approach involved interviewing 116 fishers from 4 groups to analyze planning, procurement, production, distribution, and reverse logistics. Results show that the logistics system is structured and operates efficiently under relevant socioeconomic factors. Age, income, and fishing practices influence the logistics system, while gender and education have no clear effect. Reverse logistics plays a key role in waste reduction and resource efficiency by repurposing fish waste into animal feed/organic fertilizer and reusing deteriorated fishing gear. Appropriate logistics strategies can enhance the sustainability of small-scale fisheries in the Pak Phanang River Basin.

This research aims to explore factors influencing knowledge application in online learning networks for undergraduates and develop a predictive equation. Utilizing quantitative methods, data was gathered from 380 first-year students. Findings reveal that most students use computers/notebooks daily. Key influencers include space/platform, digital technology use, and network/equipment. These predict knowledge application with 79.40% significance. A conducive environment, digital access, and stable networks are crucial. This study benefits sustainable online learning planning in higher education.

PROMOTING ELDERLY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTH WELFARE: A CASE STUDY OF BAN SUAN KLUAI COMMUNITY, SURAT THANI

This research aims to study elderly participation in health welfare in Ban Suan Kluai Community, Surat Thani, using qualitative participatory action research and focus group discussions. The study reveals ongoing collaborative activities among elderly network partners, promoting career development and regular visits to vulnerable elderly groups, supported by funds and the private sector. The Skill Development Institute provides vocational knowledge. Key findings outline participation in two areas: physical health (promoting exercise and health check-ups) and mental health (promoting careers and supporting local wisdom products). These results are beneficial for developing a participatory and sustainable elderly health welfare system.

The research found that integrating partnerships, participation from all sectors, and continuous process improvement are critical factors in driving public policy to achieve success. Furthermore, translating research findings into practical action at the community and provincial levels helps promote sustainable development and meet the needs of local people effectively.

DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTEGRATED MODEL FOR NARCOTICS CONTROL BY THE INTERNAL SECURITY OPERATIONS COMMAND IN CHIANG MAI BORDER AREAS

This study investigates the existing problems, obstacles, and approaches to developing an integrated model for narcotics-related issues implemented by the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) in Chiang Mai border areas, aiming for sustainable solutions. A qualitative research approach, including document analysis and in-depth interviews with 30 key informants—executives, policy implementers, and individuals affected by policies—revealed significant policy implementation challenges: unclear communication causing varied interpretations, a lack of cohesion, limited collaboration, uneven resource distribution, and insufficient awareness of core villages. To address these issues, the study recommends developing a clear, unified policy framework, increasing awareness and understanding, creating a joint action plan, supporting coordination efforts, allocating resources appropriately, adopting the "Mother of the Land Fund" model, strengthening the capacities of responsible agencies, and aligning performance indicators with actual local challenges for sustainable narcotics solutions.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) BUSINESSES IN THAILAND

This research uses a mixed-methods approach to investigate the key factors influencing the success of Electric Vehicle (EV) organizations in Thailand. For the quantitative study, the sample consists of 400 management-level executives in automotive parts manufacturing companies that are members of the Thai Auto-parts Manufacturers Association. Data is analyzed using descriptive statistics and Structural Equation Modeling. In the qualitative phase, in-depth interviews are conducted with 15 business owners and public-private sector executives. The quantitative findings indicate that 1) company type and executive management significantly impact the 4M framework in the production process (p < 0.01), 2) they significantly influence supply chain and logistics management (p < 0.05), and 3) they significantly affect continuous improvement (p < 0.01). Furthermore, the research reveals that 4) while the 4M production process does not directly impact business success, 5) effective supply chain and logistics management significantly contributes to it (p < 0.1), and 6) continuous improvement has a significant positive influence on business success (p < 0.01). Finally, 7) company type and executive management significantly influence overall business success (p < 0.01).

FEAR OF NEGATIVE EVALUATION AND HAPPINESS AT WORK: THE ROLES OF SOCIAL SUPPORT AND EMOTION REGULATION IN WORKING WOMEN

This paper presents a quantitative study examining the roles of social support and cognitive reappraisal emotion regulation as psychological mechanisms explaining the relationship between fear of negative evaluation and happiness at work among working women in Chiang Mai province. The sample consisted of 250 working women. Research instruments included the Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale, the Happiness at Work Scale, the Perceived Social Support Scale, and the Emotion Regulation Scale. Data analysis involved multiple regression and path analysis. The results indicated that fear of negative evaluation was negatively related to happiness at work, while social support and cognitive reappraisal emotion regulation played mediating roles in the relationship. This study has implications for developing interventions to promote happiness and well-being among working women in the Thai socio-cultural context.

This article presents a qualitative study investigating the development of product identity and digital marketing strategies to promote sustainability among Isaan Lanna farmers in Chiang Rai province. The study focuses on Chiang Saen district, an area characterized by a fusion of Isaan and Lanna cultures. The research methodology includes participatory research and action research. The findings suggest that product identity development should emphasize local culture and natural elements. Digital marketing communication strategies should prioritize the use of social media and creating shared experiences with consumers. Additionally, developing community marketing communicators with storytelling skills and appropriate media usage is a key factor for successful and sustainable marketing communication. This study has implications for promoting sustainable community product marketing and generating income for local farmers.

FINANCIAL DISTRESS WARNING SIGNALS PREDICTION: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY OF LISTED COMPANIES IN THE STOCK EXCHANGE OF THAILAND

The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of corporate governance, shareholder structure, financial performance, and industry group on predicting financial distress. It also aims to develop a model for predicting financial distress in companies based on these factors. The evaluation model's sample comprises companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) from 2019 to 2022, covering all SET sectors except for finance. Logistic regression was used to analyze the data, and a holdout sample technique was applied for robustness testing. The results indicate that the frequency of the total debt to total asset ratio is positively associated with financial distress. Conversely, board size, institutional ownership concentration, total asset turnover, and return on total assets are negatively correlated with financial distress. The constructed model demonstrated effectiveness, achieving overall predictive accuracies of 90.07%, 89.40%, and 87.80% for one-year, two-year, and three-year predictions of financial distress, respectively.

This research aims to investigate the problems, elements, and models of social partnership for children and youth in Thailand, and to propose development guidelines to the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS) to promote sustainable youth participation. A qualitative approach was used, collecting data from in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with experts in social partnership development. The findings reveal: 1) Problems including lack of acceptance, generational gaps, and complex regulations 2) Key elements including partnership preparation, creative communication, integrated collaboration, benefit sharing, monitoring & evaluation, and governance 3) The developed model promotes sustainable social development by empowering youth as social partners and driving policy collaboration with relevant organizations.

This research explores the concept of "true loyalty" through a case study of Phra Suriyabhakdee and Lady Im during the reign of King Rama III. Phra Suriyabhakdee was convicted of sending love letters to Lady Im, a royal consort. Following the law, he was sentenced to death. King Nangklao showed mercy towards Phraya Phrakhlang, Suriyabhakdee's father and a high-ranking official. The King suggested Phrakhlang could seek a pardon for his son, allowing him to live under probation. However, Phraya Phrakhlang believed his son's crime was severe. He argued that failing to punish him would undermine the law, insult the King, and tarnish the Bunnag family's reputation as honest servants. Thus, he refused to request a pardon and insisted on his son's execution. Despite the deep sorrow, Phraya Phrakhlang's "true loyalty" stemmed from his commitment to his conscience. He acted as a court official, a fair father, and a Bunnag family member preserving their integrity. In the case of Phra Suriyabhakdee, "true loyalty" did not create conflict between personal ties and public duty.

RELATIONSHIP QUALITY: PARENTS, FRIENDS, AND IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT IN UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

This survey research aims to examine the relationships between the quality of relationships with parents, the quality of friendships, and five dimensions of identity development in undergraduate students: commitment making, identification with commitment, exploration in breadth, exploration in depth, and ruminative exploration. The sample consisted of 315 students aged 18-24. The analysis revealed that the quality of parental relationships significantly influences identity commitment and exploration, while the quality of friendships plays a greater role in promoting in-depth exploration compared to parental relationships. These findings underscore the importance of both parental and peer relationships in fostering identity development during the transition to adulthood. This is a period when individuals seek self-understanding and create meaning in their lives. Support and acceptance from close individuals contribute to the ability to explore options, make decisions, and build a personal identity that is sustainable and stable in the long term.

ANTECEDENTS INFLUENCING THE INNOVATIVE WORK BEHAVIOR OF EMPLOYEES IN LEADING COMPANIES IN THE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY

This research investigates the influence of transformational leadership, knowledge sharing, and perceived organizational support on innovative work behavior among employees in the information and communication technology industry. A quantitative study was conducted with 450 employees from leading companies in the sector. Results indicate that transformational leadership has a significantly positive impact on innovative work behavior, mediated by knowledge sharing and perceived organizational support. Organizations should prioritize developing transformational leadership that emphasizes inspiration and change, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and mutual support. This should not be limited to resources, but also create an environment that encourages open expression, experimentation, and learning from mistakes, thus promoting competitiveness in the digital era.

ESG IMPACTS ON COST OF CAPITAL: EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE FROM LISTED COMPANIES ON THE STOCK EXCHANGE OF THAILAND

This study examines the impact of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors on the cost of capital for listed companies on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, considering both aggregate ESG scores and disaggregated scores across dimensions. It also analyzes financial performance, firm characteristics, and macroeconomic factors. The findings indicate that the aggregate ESG score, debt-to-total assets ratio, sales growth, firm age, firm size, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) are significantly and negatively associated with the weighted average cost of capital. Furthermore, only the Environmental score shows a significant negative effect on all measures of the cost of capital. These results highlight the important role of ESG in promoting corporate sustainability and reducing the cost of capital, ultimately contributing to the long-term value of firms.

DETERMINANTS OF EQUITY MUTUAL FUND PERFORMANCE: EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE FROM THAILAND

This article investigates the determinants of equity mutual fund performance in Thailand, using data from 300 funds listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand between 2020 and 2022. Multiple regression analysis reveals that certain financial ratios, such as the total asset turnover ratio and return on assets, are positively related to fund performance. In contrast, the debt-to-asset ratio is negatively related. Additionally, fund size and manager characteristics, such as education, experience, and qualifications, have a positive impact on performance as measured by the Sharpe Ratio and Jensen's Alpha. Finally, stock selection and market timing abilities significantly and positively affect fund performance. These findings are beneficial for fund managers, investors, and regulators in making investment decisions and developing strategies to enhance returns and sustainability.

DEVELOPING THE WE³CAPM MODEL: ENHANCING DIGITAL ACCOUNTING SKILLS, INNOVATION, AND LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT FOR VOCATIONAL DIPLOMA STUDENTS

This research aimed to develop the WE³CAPM learning management model, integrating constructivist theory, metacognitive theory, and active learning to enhance digital accounting skills, innovation, application ability, responsibility, and learning achievement of vocational diploma students. The sample consisted of first-year vocational diploma students majoring in accounting at Bueng Phra Phitsanulok Commercial College. Research instruments included skills assessment forms, tests, and satisfaction questionnaires. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and t-tests. The results showed that students learning with the WE³CAPM model had statistically significant improvements in skills and learning achievement and were most satisfied with the learning management model. These findings indicate that the WE³CAPM model is an effective learning management approach for promoting the skills needed for digital accounting professionals.

VR helps simulate realistic competition environments, reduces resource limitations, and promotes interactive learning. This article proposes using VR as a strategic mechanism to enhance the capabilities of Thai athletes on the international stage, focusing on building sustainable competitiveness, developing digital skills, and creating a national identity in the digital sports context. The findings indicate that VR not only elevates the quality of training but also responds to the challenges of globalization in increasingly intense competition.

FOSTERING SMART AGRIPRENEURS: GUIDELINES FOR THAI VOCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

This research aimed to study the development of smart agripreneurship competency in Thai vocational education institutions. The research was divided into 2 phases: Phase 1 was a quantitative study involving data collection from questionnaires of 1,300 administrators, educational institution administrators, and teachers. Phase 2 was qualitative research by focusing on focus groups of 8 experts. The research results revealed six aspects of innovative agricultural entrepreneurship competency development: policy, personnel, teaching and learning, environment, core competency determination, and operational competency determination. The findings highlight the need to integrate knowledge and skills in agricultural technology management, digital marketing, and business administration to create vocational graduates who are ready to drive Thailand's agrarian sector sustainably towards the 4.0 era. The limitation of this research is that the sample did not cover all educational institutions in the vocational education system. However, the results of this research help develop frameworks and guidelines for cultivating smart agripreneurs in the context of Thailand.

TRANSFORMING CONSTRUCTION SMES: A SYSTEMIC STRATEGY FOR SUSTAINABILITY

This study analyzes strategic policy management in construction materials startups and SMEs, aligning with SDGs. A qualitative approach was used, comprising interviews, focus groups, and document analysis with 25 key informants. Thematic Content Analysis was conducted, guided by frameworks in policy design, business ecosystems, and strategic management. Findings show that resilient SMEs in the green economy adopt 3 core strategies: human capital development, eco-friendly innovation, and governmental economic support. External factors influencing strategy include technology trends, environmental regulations, consumer expectations, and governmental roles. This provides insights for policy design supporting sustainable SME growth, and a strategic model for innovative construction materials businesses at organizational and systemic levels.

THE US INDO-PACIFIC STRATEGY IN THE TRUMP ERA: AN ANALYSIS OF AMERICAN FOREIGN POLICY AND ITS IMPLICATIONS FOR SUSTAINABILITY

This article analyzes the US Indo-Pacific strategy under President Donald Trump, focusing on the "America First" and “Making America Great Again” policy framework and its implications for regional sustainability. Drawing on the concepts of national interest, realism, and regional geography, this analysis assesses the strategic significance of the Indo-Pacific and the patterns of US security strategy in the region during the Trump era. The research reveals that Trump's foreign policy has influenced the adaptation of US strategy in the Indo-Pacific. Based on national interests, the US has conducted three main security strategies in the Indo-Pacific: 1) deploying military forces along the “Island Chain” strategy and the “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” principle; 2) “Offshore Balancing”; and 3) building the “Networked Security Architecture”. Furthermore, this article examines the impact of this strategy on regional sustainability, offering policy recommendations for Thailand to adapt to and respond to new dynamics in the Indo-Pacific, aiming to achieve sustainable development goals alongside security.
