A mixed-methods approach was employed, involving surveys of 400 tourists and in-depth interviews with 15 key stakeholders. Findings revealed that the image of tourist attraction management had the most direct and significant influence on sustainable tourism goals, with community participation and IT also being highly important. Qualitative data emphasized the need for environmental preservation, the adoption of digital technology, and fostering community engagement. Based on these results, the study proposes the MCSP Model for sustainable reservoir tourism. This integrated model comprises four key components: Management Structure (for coordination), Collaborative Management (for shared governance), Sustainable Tourism Goals (as strategic aims), and Policy & Regulation (for guidance). The MCSP Model offers a comprehensive, actionable framework to promote resilient, community-led, and environmentally conscious reservoir tourism, thereby contributing to the region's long-term benefits.
2026-03-17T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Sumeth THIMA, Nittaya WONGYOS, Phahol SAKKATAThttps://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JIRGS/article/view/291341STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION PLAN FOR ENHANCING CREATIVE TOURISM POTENTIAL IN CHANTHABURI PROVINCE2025-08-14T11:55:46+07:00Danai CHOTSANGdanai.c@rbru.ac.thPochana TOUBKEAWpotchana.too@krirk.ac.th
This mixed-methods research aims to develop a strategic communication plan to enhance the creative tourism potential of Chanthaburi Province, Thailand. Qualitative data were gathered through in-depth interviews with 31 key stakeholders, including government officials, academics, private-sector representatives, and local community leaders, as well as comprehensive document analysis. Quantitative data were collected via surveys from 400 Thai tourists. The findings highlight an overwhelming tourist demand for authentic, distinctive, and immersive community-based learning activities. Consequently, the study identified six core developmental areas, leading to a robust communication plan encompassing five strategic dimensions: establishing participatory management networks, adding value to natural and cultural resources, innovating modern marketing approaches, integrating regional tourism linkages, and enforcing stringent safety standards. This proposed communication framework offers a highly adaptable, actionable roadmap for policymakers and local communities. By leveraging integrated marketing communications and specific destination branding, the implemented plan effectively promotes sustainable economic growth, preserves indigenous cultural heritage, and successfully elevates Chanthaburi as a premier, world-class destination for high-value creative tourism experiences.
2026-04-19T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Danai CHOTSANG, Pochana TOUBKEAWhttps://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JIRGS/article/view/294181STRATEGIC POLICY AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT FOR DRIVING GREEN ROAD CONSTRUCTION IN THAILAND2025-10-05T23:29:34+07:00DISAYAPAT PAKDEEARPORNdisayapat.p@ku.thDanupon SANGNAKdanupon.s@ku.th
This documentary research examines the opportunities and challenges of implementing green road construction in Thailand to achieve sustainable development. Addressing the severe environmental impacts of conventional road building, specifically PM2.5 and PM10 air pollution, the study employs Porter’s Five Forces and PESTLE analysis to evaluate strategic industry dynamics and macroeconomic policy contexts. The findings reveal that while national bio-circular-green economic policies, increasing public environmental awareness, and technological advancements provide substantial opportunities for green infrastructure, critical barriers remain. These challenges include stringent budget limitations, insufficient technological readiness, human resource constraints, and inconsistent regulatory enforcement. To overcome these systemic obstacles, this study proposes an integrated, proactive policy framework. This comprehensive approach emphasizes synergistic stakeholder collaboration, continuous monitoring of environmental impacts, and the systematic integration of innovative construction technologies. Ultimately, this strategic roadmap provides actionable insights for policymakers and industry practitioners to mitigate structural constraints, foster sustainable economic growth, and elevate Thailand’s green public infrastructure to meet international environmental standards.
2026-04-19T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Disayapat PAKDEEARPORN, Danupon SANGNAKhttps://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JIRGS/article/view/295760SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT MODEL FOR DEVELOPING TEACHERS' INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SKILLS IN BANGKOK2025-11-23T14:09:54+07:00Kanjana POTIVICHAYANONTkanjana.po@ssru.ac.th
This mixed-methods study examines current conditions, obstacles, and proficiency levels in teachers' information technology (IT) skills to propose a sustainable management model for developing these competencies in Bangkok Metropolitan Administration schools. Qualitative data from semi-structured interviews with nine school administrators were integrated with quantitative data from 192 teachers surveyed via a high-reliability questionnaire. The findings indicate that while teachers possess a high overall IT skill level, primarily driven by a positive attitude and a strong desire for development, significant challenges remain. These challenges include age-related skill gaps, limited technological resources, and an absence of systematic post-training evaluations. Consequently, the newly developed management model proposes four crucial steps: assessing individual training needs before course design, conducting hands-on workshops using adequate modern equipment, providing dedicated mentoring for teachers with limited technological proficiency, and implementing concrete post-training evaluation and follow-up systems. This robust framework effectively supports continuous educational digital transformation processes and fosters sustainable IT competencies among school personnel, ultimately enhancing overall teaching quality.
2026-04-19T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Kanjana POTIVICHAYANONThttps://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JIRGS/article/view/294864SUSTAINABLE GRAPHENE-COATED HEMP FIBER ARMORED TROUSERS FOR FORESTRY PATROL OFFICERS' SAFETY2025-11-13T08:51:04+07:00Narongsak WANGSANnarongsakwangsan@gmail.comTorsangrasmee TEETAKAEWnarongsakwangsan@gmail.comChaiwat PHROMPETnarongsakwangsan@gmail.com
This mixed-methods research developed and evaluated sustainable lightweight armored trousers using graphene-coated hemp fiber to enhance the safety of forestry and national park officers in Thailand. The study addressed the severe risks officers face from illegal homemade firearms during field patrols. The prototype armor plates were fabricated by compressing hemp fabric coated with graphene powder using a hydraulic press. Ballistic testing with a 12-gauge shotgun at a six-meter distance demonstrated that the composite material successfully prevented pellet penetration, proving its high protective efficacy. Subsequently, the armored trousers were field-tested by a sample group of 100 forestry and national park officers. Quantitative survey results, based on the Technology Acceptance Model, revealed a very high level of user satisfaction, particularly regarding convenience, durability, and perceived safety during operations. Furthermore, statistical analysis indicated a positive correlation between the officers' age and educational level with their overall acceptance of the innovation. This sustainable protective gear offers a viable, field-ready solution to significantly reduce operational casualties while promoting the utilization of natural agricultural resources.
2026-04-19T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Narongsak WANGSAN, Torsangrasmee TEETAKAEW, Chaiwat PHROMPEThttps://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JIRGS/article/view/294739DIGITAL ACCOUNTING SKILLS AND STRATEGIC PARTICIPATION DRIVING SUSTAINABLE CAREER SUCCESS2026-01-05T15:32:29+07:00Nattharawee PHONGKRAPHANnattharawee.p@yru.ac.thNantharat NAMBURInantharat.n@yru.ac.th
This mixed-methods study investigates the causal mechanisms linking digital-era professional accounting skills to the sustainable career success of Thai accountants. Employing an Explanatory Sequential Design, quantitative data were gathered from 400 practitioners in Quality Accounting Firms and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Subsequent qualitative data from 10 key informants were evaluated via content analysis. The empirical results demonstrate that digital and data analytics skills, personal attributes, strategic communication, and problem-solving capacities significantly, yet indirectly, influence career success. Crucially, this relationship is fully mediated by the practical application of these skills in the workplace and by accountants' active participation in organizational decision-making. Qualitative insights further validate these findings, highlighting a vital paradigm shift from traditional technical roles to strategic business partnerships. Ultimately, the study proposes a comprehensive strategic framework designed for accounting firms to cultivate these multifaceted competencies. By integrating advanced technology use with ethical integrity and continuous learning, this framework ensures that Thai accountants can adapt effectively, create organizational value, and achieve long-term professional success in the rapidly evolving digital economy.
2026-04-19T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Nattharawee PHONGKRAPHAN, Nantharat NAMBURI
