บทคัดย่อ

การศึกษามีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการบริหารเงินทุนหมุนเวียนกับผลการดำเนินงาน และศึกษาบทบาทกำกับของความเสี่ยงทางการเงิน (Leverage) ในฐานะเป็นตัวแปรกำกับ กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมเกษตรและอาหารที่จดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย จำนวน 51 บริษัท ข้อมูลระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2563 - 2567 รวมทั้งสิ้น 233 ตัวอย่าง การวิเคราะห์ด้วยการถดถอยแบบพหุคูณ และการวิเคราะห์อิทธิพลกำกับด้วยโปรแกรม PROCESS MACRO ผลการศึกษาพบว่า อัตราส่วนเงินทุนหมุนเวียนส่งผลต่ออัตราผลตอบแทนต่อสินทรัพย์ แต่ไม่ส่งผลต่ออัตราผลตอบแทนต่อส่วนของผู้ถือหุ้น ขณะที่ระยะเวลาของสินค้าคงเหลือ ระยะเวลาในการเก็บหนี้ ระยะเวลาในการชำระหนี้ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับผลการดำเนินงานทั้งอัตราผลตอบแทนต่อส่วนของผู้ถือหุ้นและอัตราผลตอบแทนต่อสินทรัพย์ นอกจากนี้เมื่อพิจารณาบทบาทตัวแปรกำกับ พบว่าความเสี่ยงทางการเงินมีอิทธิพลกำกับของความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างอัตราส่วนเงินทุนหมุนเวียน และระยะเวลาของสินค้าคงเหลือกับอัตราผลตอบแทนต่อสินทรัพย์ โดยความสัมพันธ์ปรากฏชัดในระดับความเสี่ยงทางการเงินระดับปานกลางและระดับสูง และยังส่งผลต่ออัตราผลตอบแทนต่อส่วนของผู้ถือหุ้นด้วย ผลการศึกษาสะท้อนได้ว่าในบริษัทที่มีระดับหนี้สินสูงสามารถที่จะใช้การบริหารเงินทุนหมุนเวียนโดยเฉพาะการจัดการสินค้าคงเหลืออย่างให้มีประสิทธิภาพเพื่อเปลี่ยนข้อจำกัดจากภาระหนี้สินให้เป็นการเพิ่มโอกาสการสร้างผลตอบแทนให้กับผู้ถือหุ้นได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพมากกว่าบริษัทที่มีระดับหนี้สินต่ำ
