Abstract

This study aimed to 1) examine the level of business environment factors influencing competitive advantage in Thailand’s transportation and logistics industry, and 2) investigate the impact of business environment on competitive advantage in this sector. The sample comprised 400 employees from transportation and logistics companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation) and multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed that business environment factors contributing to competitive advantage in Thailand’s transportation and logistics industry were rated at a high level. Furthermore, business environment factors demonstrated a very strong positive influence on competitive advantage in the transportation and logistics sector, with statistical significance at the 0.05 level. The regression analysis indicated that business environment factors significantly predicted competitive advantage outcomes in this industr.
