Abstract

This participatory action research investigates developing a Community Learning and Innovation Platform (LIP) to drive the grassroots economy and enhance community well-being in Nakhon Sawan Province. Using a qualitative methodology across 10 target sub-districts, the study rigorously collected data from 330 key informants—including community leaders, local scholars, and network partners—through in-depth interviews, focus groups, and participant observation. Content analysis showed that the LIP effectively connects indigenous social capital with modern management practices through participatory learning. This intervention successfully established 12 concrete community economic activities, demonstrably reducing household expenses and increasing local income. Crucially, the platform cultivated 200 "community innovators" equipped to act as change agents, transferring appropriate technologies back into their communities. Furthermore, Local Administrative Organizations shifted from mere implementers to strategic facilitators. Ultimately, this systematic economic mobilization significantly strengthened holistic community well-being across physical, mental, social, and cognitive dimensions, directly contributing to the localized achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
