VALUE CREATION AND COMPETITIVENESS IN THAILAND'S DURIAN SUPPLY CHAIN UNDER BCG ECONOMY

This research investigates the causal relationships between operational efficiency, supply chain collaboration, value creation, and competitiveness within Thailand's durian supply chain under the BCG economy model. Utilizing a robust quantitative approach, empirical data were gathered from 400 key stakeholders, including farmers, collectors, and exporters across major cultivation areas. The collected data were rigorously examined using multiple regression and ANOVA analyses to test the proposed hypotheses. The statistical findings reveal that operational efficiency and supply chain collaboration significantly and positively influence value addition. Subsequently, both value addition and supply chain collaboration act as major drivers that directly enhance the overall competitiveness of the Thai durian market. The analysis also confirms significant structural differences among the variables based on specific stakeholder roles. Ultimately, this study concludes that strategically elevating operational standards while fostering robust collaborative networks serves as a vital mechanism to maximize value and secure a sustainable competitive advantage globally. These insights validate the Resource-Based View and green supply chain management while offering tangible policy recommendations aligned with the sustainable BCG economic framework to ensure long-term prosperity.
