Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the guidelines of lesson learned toward students’ activities for student leaders of Faculty of science and technology, Prince of Songkla University Pattani Campus using qualitative research methods with hermeneutic phenomenology. Data were collected from in-depth interviews, observation and document analysis. Follow-up questions and group interview were used to affirm data’s reliability. The data were analyzed by Dikelman and Allen. The results were presented and discussed by descriptive analysis.

          The results of the research showed that guidelines for the lesson learned process of student activities is a knowledge management embedded in the implementation of extra-curricular activities for student development or student activities conducted by a group of students or higher education institutions. These are through the process of extracted knowledge called lesson learned technique to review and summarize preceding experiences in various aspects in order to create knowledge sets that are consistent with sustainable development in terms of individuals, society, environment, and economy through these 4 steps: 1) Preparation for understanding knowledge, components, and learning mechanism, 2) Pre-, while, post-action process of lessons learned, 3) communication lesson learned, and 4) monitoring and application process of lessons learned.
