The Opinions of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives’ Farmers on the Debt Suspension Project and Debt Reduction Burden Project in Lao Khwan, Kanchanaburi

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the level of the Opinions of The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives’ Farmers on the Debt Suspension Project and Debt Reduction Burden Project in Lao Khwan, Kanchanaburi and to compare the Opinions of The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives’ Farmers on the Debt Suspension Project and Debt Reduction Burden Project through System of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives in in Lao Khwan Kanchanaburi , concerning to the factors of sex, age, educational level, marital status, income, amount of debt, amount of farm and type of agriculture. The sample group consisted of 371 Farmers. The questionnaire was used as the instrument of the study. The statistical analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one way ANOVA and LSD at the .05 level of significance. The results indicated that the level of farmers’ opinions on the Debt Suspension Project and Debt Reduction Burden Project was at the high level. Testing of hypotheses revealed that different gender and marital status made different opinions, exception for age, educational level, income, amount of debt, amount of farm and type of agriculture.
