Morale in Job Performance of Employees of Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study the level of morale in job performance and factors related to morale in job performance of employees of Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus. The samples in this study consisted of 263 employees of Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus. The instrument used to collect the data was a questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, standard deviation, analysis of variance and multiple classification analysis. The level of statistical significance was set at .05. The results of the research showed that the employees had morale in job performance at a moderate level. When each aspect was considered, it was found that the relationship between colleagues aspect was the highest, followed by working environment aspect and working satisfaction aspect, respectively. The hypothesis testing showed that the personal factors such as gender, age, education, department, length of work and monthly income did not significantly correlate with the morale in job performance. Overall work factors such as organizational commitment, working motivation and working happiness significantly correlated with morale in job performance of employees of Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus at .05 level of significance. Besides, it was found that organizational commitment and working happiness significantly correlated with working satisfaction, working environment and relationship between colleagues at .05 level of significance. Working motivation was found significantly correlated with working satisfaction, and working environment but did not correlate with relationship between colleagues.
