Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) study the leveled of performance efficiency of production operators 2) examine the effect of demographics factors on performance efficiency of production operators to and 3) study motivation having effect on performance efficiency of production operators the population in this study were 400 production operators in auto part factory around Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate in 2011 and the tool for collecting data in this study is questionnaire. The statistics for data analysis were descriptive statistics including frequency, means, and standard deviation and the statistics for hypothesis testing are regression, , t-test, F-test. The finding showed that production operators have opinion for overall performance efficiency in a high level. The highest average is quality of production aspect and the second is production lead time. The least is production method. The finding of hypothesis testing found that the different age and education level show the different opinion for performance with significance of 0.05. For gender, income, working hour in present company and experience in auto part industry, there is no difference in opinion for performance efficiency. The intrinsic motivations are achievement, authority, participation, job opportunity for progression and challenge. The extrinsic motivations are management and policy, training, advancement, technology and security when working for performance efficiency in production operators at the significance of .05.
