Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the opinions on quality of working life of the professional nurses in BMA General Hospital and the factors in relation to such quality from the samples consisted of 206 professional nurses in the BMA General Hospital, by using questionnaires to collect data and analysed accordingly by statistical software. Statistical tools used for data analysis were percentage, means, standard deviation and Pearson’s Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient at the level of statistical significance of 0.05. The results of the research found that the quality of working life of the professional nurses in BMA General Hospital was at moderate level and hypothesis testing revealed that 8 factors (adequate and fair compensation, safe and healthy working condition, opportunities for personal capacity development, growth and security, social integration, respect for persons, and work-life balance) had a relationship with the quality of working life of professional nurses in BMA General Hospital at the .05 level of significance.
