Abstract

The research aims to investigate the attitudes of Riot Control Police towards Riot Control Operations: A Case Study of the Protection and Crowd Control Division 1, Metropolitan Police Bureau. Quantitative methods were employed by using questionnaires to collect data from 249 riot control police and analyzed by statistical software. The result showed that the riot control police’s attitude mainly was positive at the high level toward the Dynamic Resistance Response Model: A Modern Approach to the Use of Forces because the Dynamic Resistance Response Model or DRRM is UN Basic Principles on the Use of Forces and Firearms by Law Enforcement Officials which is civil consideration. Moreover, to focus on both theory and physical training include the incident commander should have knowledge, ability and mass psychology about operation and strategy efficiently.
