This research aimed to investigate the levels, differences, problems, obstacles and suggestions of the political participation in the Amendment of the Constitution according to Article 291. The sample group consisted of 398 individuals in Sam Chuk, Suphan Buri. Data were collected by using questionnaires and statistics data were analysed by percentage, mean, t-test, one-way ANOVA for the sample group of 3 or more at the statistical significance of .05. The results indicated that people in Sam Chuk, Suphan Buri had the political participation in the Amendment of the Constitution on Article 291 at medium level in aspects of political news perception and political participation, considering the perspectives of political interest, political activity campaign, political debate, political gathering and the whole in overall. The people’s differences in gender, income, and education affected the political participation in the Amendment of the Constitution on Article 291 at different levels. Whereas, the political mass media perception (radio, television, newspaper, magazine, printed materials and the internet) and media among individuals (relatives, friends, gurus, acquaintances who were interested, members of Constitution Drafting Assembly of Thailand, and parliament debates) had no effect on differentiating political participation in the Amendment of the Constitution on Article 291.
