Abstract

The objectives of the study of a Good Governance and the New Public Management (NPM) in Thai Local Governments were to comprehend a Good Governance and the New Public Management (NPM) in Thai Local Government and to utilize the result of the study to develop Good Governance in Thai Local Government. The study employed mixed method research focusing on qualitative research and utilizing quantitative data as auxiliary data. The result of this study found that Good Governance affected the accomplishment of NPM application in Thai Local Government. The result of the interview showed that good government as law enforcement had to be followed and should underpin stakeholders participation in the New Public Management in Thai Local Government.
