The Development of a Handbook for Activities Promoting Health Education Learning about the Coronavirus Disease for Students in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Abstract

The purposes of the study were 1) to develop a manual for organizing learning activities to promote learning health education about coronavirus infection for students in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, 2) to study the results of learning activities to promote health education learning about a coronavirus infection, and 3) to study the awareness of perception about coronavirus. The research methods had four Phases: 1; Planning Stage, Phase 2; operational Phase 3; observation and recording stage, and Phase 4; reflection stage. This is asingle-group experimental model with 30 students in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya as a target group. The research instruments were questionnaires, interview forms, knowledge test. The statistics research statistics were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and dependent t-test. the results of the research were as follows: 1) A manual was provided to organize 20 activities to promote learning of health education courses on coronavirus disease 2) the effectiveness of the using activities to promote the learning of health education courses on… the disease was found. It was found that (1) students had higher level of knowledge about coronavirus disease after studying at a significant level of .01, (2) students had higher level of prevention and control skills at a significant level of .01, (3) students had higher level of awareness about Coronavirus disease even after 4 four weeks they joined the activities at a significant level of .01
