Experimental Results of Flexible Learning Model for Pre – Service Teachers

Abstract
The research article consisted of the following objectives: 1) to develop flexible learning management model for undergraduate students in a teaching profession program; and 2) to develop the students' learning achievement, with seventy percent of students achieving at least seventy percent for the average score. Purposive sampling was employed to acquire a sample group of 28 undergraduate students enrolled in a teaching profession program at Buriram Rajabhat University's Education Faculty during the academic year B.E. 2562. The study employed the action research method based on three practical circles which were: the first circle on the 1st – 5th lesson plans; the second circle on the 6th – 10th lesson plans; and the third circle on the 11th – 15th lesson plans. The total duration for lesson plans was 60 classes and 50 minutes for each class. The research instruments were 1) the record of the lesson plans and activities; 2) quiz on the three practical circles; and 3) the learning achievement test for students in a teaching profession who studied using a flexible learning management model. The statistics used were mean, percentage, and standard deviation (S.D.). From the study, the following results are found: 1) The flexible learning management model for undergraduate students in a teaching profession program helps in the development of students' knowledge and capability in flexible learning; and 2) Students have learning achievement with a mean of 72.99, of which 20 students passing the criteria of 70% accounting for 71.43 percent. The findings met the research objectives, demonstrating that flexible learning management is effective based on the criteria that were specified.
