อิทธิพลของดัชนีชี้วัดทางเศรษฐกิจและการเงินต่อดัชนีราคาหุ้นกลุ่มพลังงานของประเทศไทยและมาเลเซีย : การวิเคราะห์เชิงเปรียบเทียบด้วยการถดถอยแบบควอนไทล์

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ผลกระทบของดัชนีชี้วัดทางเศรษฐกิจ ได้แก่ ดัชนีราคาน้ำมันดิบ (WTI) ดัชนีความไม่แน่นอนทางเศรษฐกิจของสหรัฐ(USEPU) และดัชนีชี้วัดทางการเงิน ได้แก่ ดัชนีชี้วัดความผันผวนของตลาดหลักทรัพย์ (VIX) ดัชนีชี้วัดความผันผวนของราคาน้ำมัน (OVX) และดัชนี ตลาดหลักทรัพย์ของไทย (SET) หรือของมาเลเซีย (FTSE) ที่ส่งผลต่อดัชนีราคาหุ้นกลุ่มพลังงานของประเทศไทย (NQTH60) และมาเลเซีย (NQMY60) โดยวิธีกำลังสองน้อยที่สุด (Ordinary Least Squares : OLS) และแบบควอนไทล์ (Quantile Regression : QR) ในระดับ 0.25 0.50 และ 0.75 ซึ่งแทนสภาวะตลาดที่ให้ผลตอบแทนต่ำกว่า เท่ากับ และสูงกว่าปกติ จากข้อมูลทุติยภูมิรายวันตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2557 ถึงวันที่ 31 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2568 จากผลการทดสอบ พบว่า SET และ FTSE มีอิทธิพล (P<0.01) ในทิศทางบวกทุกสภาวะตลาดโดยมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ระหว่าง 1.260–1.342 และ 1.166–1.365 ตามลำดับ เช่นเดียวกับ WTI ที่มีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ระหว่าง 0.055–0.074 สำหรับไทย และ 0.031–0.049 สำหรับมาเลเซีย อย่างไรก็ตาม การทดสอบด้วย QRได้แสดงผลกระทบของ VIX OVX และ USEPU ในแต่ละสภาวะตลาดของสองประเทศที่แตกต่างกัน กล่าวคือ VIX และ OVX มีอิทธิพลเชิงลบเฉพาะ Q0.25 โดยมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ -0.0034 และ -0.0025 ตามลำดับ ในกรณีของ NQTH60 และ -0.0040 สำหรับ VIX ในกรณีของ NQMY60 ขณะที่ ณ Q0.75 USEPU มีอิทธิพลเชิงบวก เฉพาะในกรณีของ NQMY60 โดยมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ 0.0014 ทั้งนี้ กลับไม่พบอิทธิพลของ VIX OVX และ USEPU เมื่อวิเคราะห์โดย OLS ข้อค้นพบดังกล่าวมีนัยสำคัญสองประการ ได้แก่ (1) นักลงทุนควรพิจารณาใช้แบบจำลอง QR ในการประเมินความเสี่ยงของพอร์ตการลงทุนในหุ้นกลุ่มพลังงาน เนื่องจากยังคงมีดัชนีชี้วัดที่วิธี OLS ไม่สามารถตรวจพบได้ และ (2) ผู้กำหนดนโยบายควรคำนึงถึงความแตกต่างเชิงโครงสร้างพลังงานในการออกแบบมาตรการรองรับความผันผวนของตลาดโล
