Abstract

The article on the concept of strengthening community is to address the
characteristics of a strong community, Elements and factors of community to get
community stronger involve the process of strengthening community Self Reliance. The
most important elements that make the community successful in building
strengthening the communities are (1) Internal factors : Community’s leader, People in the community, Good community management and (2) External factors : Support from
external agencies, having a community network. Therefore, the community must have
management approach or strategy to make the community more potential. They have
the ability to develop sustainable communities.
