DESIGN TABLE FOR PLAYING E-SPORTS VIA MOBILE DEVICES

The aim of this study is to investigate different designs of tables for e-sports (e-sports) and to develop a table specifically designed for mobile e-sports, followed by an evaluation of user satisfaction. The instruments used for qualitative data collection and experimentation included a semi-structured interview to collect information from design experts, and questionnaires to assess satisfaction. The population and sample consisted of professional e-athletes with national or international competitive experience, and design experts.
The results can be summarized as follows: The designed table had a width of 70 cm, a depth of 60 cm, and a height of 100 cm. It was made of 15 mm OSB plywood covered with 1.5 mm thick veneer to facilitate stability and maintenance. The table was equipped with an electrical system, four USB ports, color-changing LED lights, and two 6.5-inch speakers. In terms of user satisfaction, the overall results were at a very high level. The average scores were 4.42 for usability, 4.35 for the specific conditions of furniture use, 4.72 for the materials, 4.52 for the primary and secondary functions, and 4.44 for the motivational aspects. The lowest score was in the "Special conditions" category. Users suggested automatic height and tilt adjustment to improve comfort and suitability for continuous play. This study shows how important it is to design e-sports tables that combine ergonomics, durability, and technology to improve performance, reduce health problems caused by prolonged sitting, and adapt to both home use and professional competition environments.
