ปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกิดคำยืมภาษาอัสสัมในภาษาไทอาหม (The Factors Related to Assamese Loanwords in Tai Ahom Language)

Abstract

งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาคำยืมภาษาอัสสัมในภาษาไทอาหม และปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกิดคำยืมภาษาอัสสัมในภาษาไทอาหม ผลจากการศึกษาพบว่า มีคำยืมภาษาอัสสัมในภาษาไทอาหม จำนวน 290 คำ เป็นคำยืมที่เป็นชื่อเฉพาะจำนวน 173 คำ และคำยืมที่ไม่ใช่ชื่อเฉพาะจำนวน 117 คำ ด้านปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกิดคำยืมภาษาอัสสัมในภาษาไทอาหมมี 3 ประเด็น คือปัจจัยด้านการอพยพย้ายถิ่น ปัจจัยด้านการเมือง การปกครอง และปัจจัยด้านศาสนาThe purpose of this study was to investigate Assamese loanwords as they appeared in the Ahom language and to study the factors that were related to loanwords initiation. Results of this study revealed that there are 290 words in Ahom language borrowed from Assamese of which 173 words belong to proper noun, 117 words belong to common noun. In addition, the study found that there are three factors related to loanwords initiation namely immigration, governance, and religion.
