Guidelines for the Adaptation of Farmers in Community Enterprise Groups in Loei Province

Abstract

The research article consisted of the following objectives: 1) to investigate the impact of Covid-19 situation on farmers in community enterprise groups, Loei province; 2) to explore the adaptation of farmers in community enterprise groups, Loei province; and 3) to propose guidelines for the adaptation of farmers in community enterprise groups, Loei province. The population used for the study included 231 heads of community enterprise groups in Loei province, who were selected by purposive sampling. The tools used were interview form and a questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed by t-test, f-test, One-Way ANOVA, multiple correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression analysis.


From the study, the following results are found: 1) Farmers in community enterprise groups in Loei province view that the impact of Covid-19 situation is overall, and in each aspect, at a high level, which includes economy, society, and environment; 2) Farmers in the community enterprise groups in Loei province view that the adaptation of farmers is overall, and in each aspect, at a high level, which includes production, marketing, management, finance, and participation in the community enterprise groups; and 3) Guidelines for the adaptation of farmers in community enterprise groups during the Covid-19 situation include their adaptation to the present circumstances in all aspects in order to keep up with global change, such as presenting standard and unique products that can respond to consumer needs, as well as always presenting new products to the market.
