A Buddhism Dissemination Model Based on Buddhist Psychology of Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmapundit (Prayoon Dhammacitto)

Abstract
The research article consisted of the following objectives:1) to investigate the concepts of Buddhism dissemination and the components of Buddhism dissemination by Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmapundit (Prayoon Dhammacitto); 2) to explore a model of the dissemination of Buddhism based on Buddhist psychology by Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmapundit; 3) to examine the consequences of Buddhism dissemination based on Buddhist psychology by Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmapundit; and 4) to propose the dissemination of Buddhism based on Buddhist psychology by Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmapundit. The study used a mixed-methods research that included qualitative and quantitative methods. Buddhist dissemination methods based on Buddhist psychology were observed using pre- and post-attitudes, and the data obtained were analyzed using a statistical package.
From the study, the following results were found: 1. The concepts for disseminating Buddhism based on the Buddhist psychology of Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmapundit (Prayoon Dhammacitto), include the following: the preparation of those who disseminate Buddhism, a comprehensive knowledge of the Buddhadhamma and the Tipitaka, a commitment to practice in order to enlighten what one has studied, and a plan to help other people and society. The Buddhist psychology for dissemination consists of four components, which are (1) Sandassanā, referring to elucidation and verification in the Dhamma, (2) Samādapanā, referring to inspiration for faith-building, (3) Samuttejanā, referring to filling with enthusiasm to practice, and (4) Sampahaṃsanā, referring to filling with delight and joy. 2. A model for the dissemination of Buddhism by Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmapundit includes the following steps: 1) Step 1 refers to the preparation of those who disseminate Buddhism; 2) Step 2 refers to the implementation of dissemination with the aim of learning management and in compliance with psychological principles; and 3) Step 3 refers to expecting Saṅgahadhura results that are intended to benefit people and the environment. 3. The consequences of Buddhism dissemination showed that the audiences who listened to the dissemination of Buddhism have more knowledge and understanding of the Buddha's teachings, and have put these teachings into practice in their daily lives. 4. A Buddhism dissemination model based on Buddhist psychology of Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmapundit is according to a Buddhism dissemination model of Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmapundit (Prayoon Dhammacitto).
