An Educational Management Model to Promote Necessary Skills of Students in Highland Schools in Remore Areas

Abstract
The research article aimed at developing an educational management model to promote the necessary skills of students in highland schools in remote areas. The following were the specific objectives of the study: 1) to investigate components and guidelines for educational management; 2) to create and examine educational management model; and 3) to evaluate the feasibility and utility of educational management model to promote the necessary skills of students in highland schools in remote areas. The study employed mixed-methods research with the following three steps: 1) investigating components and guidelines for educational management through document synthesis and interviews with five experts and administrators from three best-practice schools, who were selected through purposive sampling. The obtained data were evaluated using a content analysis approach; 2) creating and examining educational management model through focus group discussions with nine experts; and 3) evaluating the feasibility and utility of educational management model with a ninty school administrators from nine upper nothern provinces, who were selected by purposive sampling. The statistics used were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
From the study, the following results are found: 1) The following are the components and guidelines for educational management to promote the necessary skills of students in highland schools in remote areas: (1) educational management inputs, (2) educational management processes, and (3) students’ necessary skills. 2) The results of creating and examining the model show that the educational management model for promoting the necessary skills of students in highland schools in remote areas consists of three components and one condition for success. The three components include: (1) educational management inputs; (2) educational management processes, and (3) students’ necessary skills. The one condition for success is the educational management policies. 3) The results reveal that the feasibility and utility of educational management model for promoting the necessary skills of students in highland schools in remote areas are overall at the highest level.
