Innovation in Teaching Art Education in the Virtual World: Metaverse

Abstract
The academic article on Innovation in Arts Education Teaching in the Virtual World: Metaverse aimed to research, collect, analyze, and synthesize the current virtual world: Metaverse, which has begun to be used in the field of education in the form of VR (Virtual reality). The Metaverse quickly became popular and was used in many ways, such as communication through social media where everyone on the planet can be connected in the same virtual world. It was found that aside from using the Metaverse for entertainment purposes, it is used for teaching and learning as well. Also, in terms of art, the Metaverse is used in organizing the exhibitions on virtual world online platforms and developing online games to teaching and learning through online media in the form of 3D virtual worlds, such as visual arts and line drawings.
In Thailand, there has been a great awareness of the importance of the Metaverse in art teaching education, including adapting to learning and access to technology which affects teaching and learning management, access to works, value creation, and monetization for artists. This includes online exhibitions, using VR in drawing, painting, mixed media, kinetic art, and digital painting. However, due to the high cost of VR equipment, it may not be accessible to everyone. Therefore, this needs the government sectors or relevant organizations to support such activities. In addition, Art sculptures, animations or storyboards have also been applied in the curriculum by combining the psychology of learning into courses or curriculums that focus on inspiration. Also, integrating science and arts world be able to draw learners' attention to the content for online teaching. Moreover, the curriculum was based on successful learning abroad, for example in the USA, Europe, Japan, Singapore, Korea and others. For example, various courses on online platforms were divided into 5 study periods details as follows: Part 1: beginning of the lesson it takes about 15 minutes and focuses on giving inspiration to the students, Part 2: an introduction of the content and details, Part 3: a review of the content, Part 4: a summary of the whole content, and Part 5making learners understand the important issues.
