Scenario of Characteristics of School Administrators under the Office of the Basic Education Commission in the Next Decade (A.D. 2022-2031)

Abstract

The purpose of this research article is to present the scenario of characteristics of school administrators under the office of the basic education commission in the next decade (A.D.2022-2031) by using Ethnographic Delphi Future Research (EDFR) methodology. The key informants were 21 experts. The research instruments included 1) semi-structured interview and 2) a questionnaire with 5 rating scale. The statistics used for analyzing quantitative data were 1) median and 2) interquartile range. The qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis.


The results showed that the scenario of characteristics of school administrators under the office of the basic education commission in the next decade (A.D.2022-2031) consist of 10 aspects which are 1) Vision 2) Knowledge and Learning 3) Digital Technology 4) Creativity and Innovation 5) Empowerment and Inspiration 6) Networking and Human relations 7) Creating opportunities and Increasing the potential of colleagues 8) Image and Good role model 9) Communication and 10) Leader and Leadership.
