Innovation for the Development for Little Economist Green Way in the Group of Schools Expanding Educational Opportunities, Banthi District, Lamphun Province

Abstract

The research article aimed at creating innovation for the development of green little economists in the opportunity expansion schools in Banthi District, Lamphun Province. The study employed a mixed-method research which included both quantitative and qualitative methods. The target group was administrators and social studies teachers, totaling 6 people, who were from Wat Pa Tueng Huai Yap School and Ban Huai Sai School in Huai Yap Subdistrict, Banthi District, Lamphun Province. Interviews were used to collect the data, which were then used to analyze economics learning management issues and create learning management innovation to develop future green little economists. The research results were presented in a descriptive method.


From the study, it is found that the innovation for the development of green little economists refer to economics learning management plans that are integrated with occupational skills activity on “Guay Rak Loka.” There are 6 steps for developing the innovation: (1) investigating economics teaching and learning problems; (2) establishing goals for building and developing innovation; (3) investigating problems and limitations in building and developing innovation; (4) building innovation; (5) testing the congruence and efficiency; (6) spreading and utilizing the innovation. There are 5 steps for practicing skills: (1) leading students to connect their existing knowledge or to inquire about the resources available in the student community; (2) investigating and selecting resources and occupations that are appropriate for oneself and one's surroundings; (3) implementing based on learning management plans and practicing from learning sources; (4) designing and developing products in a creative manner while keeping conservation and a friendly approach  toward nature and the environment; and (5) applying innovation of green little economists with the sufficiency economy philosophy.
