A Model of Teacher Development in Learning Management in the Digital Era of Private Vocational Schools

Abstract
The objectives of this research article were 1) to study the state of teacher development in learning management in the digital era of private vocational schools; 2) to create a model of teacher development in learning management in the digital era of private vocational schools; 3) to test a model of teacher development in learning management in the digital era of private vocational schools; and 4) to evaluate a model of teacher development in learning management in the digital era of private vocational schools. This research is a mixed methods research. The samples used in the study were school administrators or teachers which were obtained using Krejcie & Morgan and the interviews with 3 administrators from 3 private vocational schools were obtained by purposive sampling. The tools used to collect data were a questionnaire, semi-structured interview, model assessment form and model guide. The statistics used in the research were mean, standard deviation and content analysis.
The results showed that: 1. The overall state of teacher development in learning management in the digital era was at a moderate level ( =3.43, S.D.=0.73); 2. The results of creation of a model of teacher development for learning management in the digital era consisted of 5 main components: 1) principle, 2) objective, 3) procedure, 4) assessment guideline, 5) success conditions, The procedure had 3 components: 1) project-based learning management, 2) active learning management, 3) online learning management, which consisted of 4 processes: (1) teacher development planning, (2) teacher development operations, (3) teacher development pursuance and evaluation, and (4) teacher development improvement; 3. The results of the test of a model of teacher development in learning management in the digital era of private vocational schools showed 95.00 percent of the practice; 4. The results of the evaluation of a model of teacher development in learning management in the digital era of private vocational schools found that the overall appropriateness, possibility, and usefulness were at a high level (
= 4.20, S.D.=0.76).
