The Promotion of Early Childhood Well-Being at Child Development Center under Local Administrative Organization in the Northeast Region

Abstract
The research article aimed at studying the circumstances and promotion of early childhood well-being at Child Development Centers under local administrative organization in the Northeast Region. The target group for in-depth interview comprised one chief executive of Subdistrict Administrative Organization (SAO), one head of Child Development Center, one director of Tambol health promotion hospital, three childcare teachers, one female chef, and twenty parents. The target group for focus group discussion included 15 committee members of child development center and childcare teachers, 282 early childhood teachers, and 347 early childhood parents in health area 7 – 10. The tools used were questionnaire form, interview form, and focus group. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
From the study, the following results were found: 1) According to a study of the circumstances, a child aged 0 to 5 years old has a developmental delay with a percentage of 5.64, as well as an executive function developmental delay with a percentage of 30. The findings also revealed that administrators place an importance on human development, childcare teachers develop a fondness for children, and parents participate in supporting early childhood well-being in all aspects; 2) From exploring the promotion of early childhood well-being, early childhood teachers and parents have knowledge on playing at the highest level, attitudes about promoting early childhood well-being at the unsure level, and behavior that promotes early childhood well-being at a high level. The components of early childhood promotion comprise: 1) personal factors; 2) factors within early childhood; and 3) environmental factors.
