The Development of a Practice Form for Reading, Analyzing and Writing Skills in Thai Language by Using a Case-Study Teaching Method Together with GPAS 5 STEPS Technique of Schools in the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Secondary Educational Service Area Office

Abstract
This research aimed to study 1) to develop a practice form for reading, analyzing and writing skills in Thai language by using a case-study teaching method together with GPAS 5 STEPS technique of schools in the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Secondary Educational Service Area Office, 2) to examine the quality of a practice form for reading, analyzing and writing skills in Thai language, and 3) to study the result of using a practice form for reading, analyzing and writing skills in Thai language using quasi-experimental research. The research instruments included 1) a learning achievement form, 2) a practice form, and 3) a satisfaction assessment form. The sample group included Mathayomsuksa 3 students at Wichianklinsukonupatham School, totaling 60 students who study in the first semester of the academic year 2022. The statistics for data analysis include mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
The findings revealed that 1) a practice form for reading, analyzing, and writing skills in Thai consisted of 6 components: (1) a pre-study test, (2) the purpose of using a practice form, (3) activity steps (7 steps), (4) content and activities, (5) a post-study test, and (6) an assessment result form. 2) The result of the quality examination of the skills training form found that every skill training set A quality mean of 4.92 means that the suitability is at the highest level. 3) For the result of using a practice form, it was found that 3.1) the result of comparison of the learning achievement of students who received the learning management by using the case-study teaching method together with GPAS 5 STEPS technique found that their scores were higher than those who received the regular learning management with a statistical significance of .05 and 3.2) the students' overall satisfaction with the learning activities was 4.21 at a high level.
