The study employed a mixed-methods approach, with research tools including an in-depth interview form, a test measuring leader communication, and a training package. The key informants consisted of 10 persons. A sample group for the experiment consisted of ten group leaders. Mean, t-test, and descriptive quality data were the statistics used for data analysis. From the study, the following results are found:

1) The Covid-19 epidemic has had an impact on leader communication in the organization during the new normal, requiring the use of online communication. Aside from the stress of dealing with such a problem in an urgent situation, there are problems with clarity in content, details, instructions, and the change in work process, all of which result in conflicts in both external and internal communication, whether with oneself or others and society.

2) A process of peace innovation in communication for empowering new normal leaders is based on Buddhist peaceful means and peaceful communication concepts to create training package for developing new normal leaders: (1) knowing; (2) creating; (3) understanding; (4) realizing; (5) knowing others and knowing oneself; (6) uniting; and (7) self-awareness. After the participants joined the program, the posttest of participants is higher than that of the pretest with a statistical significance of 0.05 level. This is the program where participants practice, which results in affection, unity, and empowerment in communication of the leaders. The body of knowledge gained from the study is called “Leader for Peace Model”: the communication of leaders to foster peace inside the organization.
