The stakeholders of the learning management can be categorized into 3 groups: (1) Two opportunity expansion schools; (2) Family and community group comprising parents, community leaders, and community committee, for a total of 30 persons; and (3) Government officials within the area, for a total of 4 persons. The obtained data were analyzed using content analysis. This study has passed the approval of the Ethic Committee at Srinakharinwirot University.
From the study, it is found as follows: Both two opportunity expansion schools have the learning management that are based on the roles of teachers and students, which can be divided into two styles: (1) Teacher-based learning management; and (2) Student-based learning management. The context of each subject and the overall situation determine which of the two styles will be used. From analyzing the development of learning management model, it is discovered that both schools share common features, which can be classified into four main stages: 1) the preparedness prior to the start of the research; (2) the design of the research; (3) the conduct of research; and (4) lesson learned. All of these four stages can be divided into twelve sub-stages, which results in area-based approaches of learning management that can respond to the community need efficiently, as well as fostering a culture of lifelong learning among schools and communities.
