Development of Educational Innovation Management Strategies in Education 5.0

Abstract

The research article consisted of the following objectives: 1) to investigate the desirable and current conditions of educational innovation management in the era of education 5.0; 2) to develop the strategies of educational innovation management in the era of 5.0; and 3) to experiment the strategies of educational innovation management in the era of 5.0. The study used a qualitative research method, with data collected by the following methods: 1) Conducting in-depth interviews with five experts in educational management and innovation who were chosen through purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria. Content analysis was used to examine the data; 2) Conducting focus group discussions to analyze the settings and develop strategies, using data collected from twelve experts in educational management and innovation. The tools used were SWOT analysis table and TOWS Matrix. Content analysis was used to examine the data; and 3) Experimenting the strategies of educational innovation management at Triam Udom Suksa Pattanakarn School, Pranburi province. The data were collected by recording the outcomes of the experiments. Content analysis was used to examine the data. In terms of quantitative method, the sample group consisted of 181 schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office in the Central Region. The data were collected from 362 school directors and teachers. A sample group was determined by stratified random sampling. The tools used were questionnaires. Statistics were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Priority Needs Index Modified (PNImodified). 


From the study, the following results are found: 1) The overall, and in each aspect, desirable conditions of educational innovation management in the era of education 5.0 are at the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x}  = 4.64). The overall, and in each aspect, current conditions of educational innovation management in the era of education 5.0 are at a high level (gif.latex?\bar{x}  = 4.06). The priority needs index included management innovation (PNImodified = 0.18), with measurement and evaluation innovation (PNImodified = 0.18) coming in last; 2) Curriculum innovation, instruction innovation, teaching media innovation, measurement and evaluation innovation, and management innovation are the five educational innovation management strategies in the 5.0 era. There are additionally fifteen other secondary strategies; and 3) The results of experimenting strategies revealed that they are feasible, proprietary, accurate, and useful, as well as efficient. All of them can be implemented.
