The Transformation of Moral Teaching Monks: The Development of Monks for Supervision Administration, Supervising Monks, and Moral Teaching Monks to Mobilize Morality in Thai Society

Abstract
The research article intends to present the body of knowledge acquired from the 3 research sub-projects with the following objectives: 1) to develop the management model of monks for supervision administration based on the principles of self-empowerment and participatory learning; 2) to develop the management model of professional learning community for supervising monks to strengthen strong moral learning organization; and 3) to present the scenario of moral teaching monks in order to enhance the teaching of Buddhism subject in the new normal society. The study used a research model based on sub-project ; Research 1 with Mix methods Research, Research Project 2 with Action Research and Project 3 with Qualitative Research. Pilot research areas in four regions.
From the study, the following findings are found: 1) The management model of monks for supervision administration consists of four components which are: (1) The participatory selection process; (2) The learning process to create change; (3) The establishment of a system structure to promote monks for supervision administration; and (4) The establishment of a strong network of monks for supervision administration. 2) The management model of professional learning community for supervising monks consists of the following elements: (1) The 1:1:1 management package; (2) The learning process for chance and network building; and (3) The communication process for empowering team work. 3) The scenario of moral teaching monks comprises the following aspects: (1) Knowledge and understanding of basic educational concepts; (2) Curriculum development skills; (3) Skills in using learning innovation in the classroom; (4) Skills in organizing learning activity; (5) Learning evaluation skills; and (6) Action research skills in the classroom to develop learning innovation. The body of knowledge obtained from the research is “Moral Tree in Thai Society” model which consists of the following elements: (1) The foundation of network power in collaboration; (2) The development of a strong and clear system and structure; (3) The development of 3 powers which are monks for supervision administration, supervising monks, and moral teaching monks to mobilize moral power; (4) The student learning outcomes; and (5) The ongoing research and development.
