Abstract

The research article consisted of the following objectives: 1) to develop the system; 2) to experiment and assess the system; and 3) to improve the system. The study employed a mixed-method research approach based on research and development. The population used for the study included 250 school administrators, guidance teachers, and advisory teachers of upper secondary schools under Nuanchan School Consortium, the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 2. The population used for experiment included 36 school administrators, guidance teachers, and advisory teachers from Satri Witthaya 2 School in the academic year B.E. 2564. The research instruments were interview form and questionnaire. The data from the interview form were analyzed using content synthesis, whereas the data from the questionnaire were analyzed using package software. The statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation (S.D.).


From the study, the following results are found: 1) The mental health management system consists of three components which are input, process, and output; 2) After experimenting and evaluating the system, it is discovered that the system met all of the assessment criteria. The performance of guidance and advisory teachers is overall at the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.90). After experimenting with the system, they are equipped with knowledge, understanding, and skills at the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 3.89) while their satisfaction toward the system is at the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.93); and 3) To improve the system, it is to establish the strength and threat strategy, teamwork, networking, and providing comprehensive proactive mental health services. All of this leads to a quality and more efficient mental health management.
