The Multimedia Development on Fruit Carving: Ready to eat Fruit set In Home economics subject

Abstract
The research article consisted of the following objectives: 1) to explore the efficiency of multimedia; 2) to find the rater agreement index (RAI) of students who learned through multimedia; 2) to investigate the satisfaction of students toward multimedia on fruit carving regarding a set of ready-to-eat fruits in Home Economics subject. The study employed an experimental research approach with 19 students of the third secondary school from Nong Ya Sai Wittaya School in Suphanburi Province, who were chosen by way of random assignment. The research instruments were multimedia, media quality assessment form, performance assessment form, and satisfaction assessment form. The statistics used were IOC (Index of Item – Objective Congruence), Rater Agreement Index (RAI), percentage, mean, and standard deviation (S.D.).
From the study, the following results are found: 1) The efficiency of multimedia on fruit carving regarding a set of ready-to-eat fruits in Home Economics subject is equal to 80.00/84.21, which is higher than the set criteria; 2) The overall rater agreement index (RAI) on the work piece is at a high level of 0.89, indicating that the raters scored the work piece in the same direction; and 3) The students’ satisfaction toward multimedia on fruit carving regarding a set of ready-to-eat fruits in Home Economics subject is overall at the highest level ( = 4.77). The results of this study are able to meet all of the objectives that were specified.
